Privacy Policy

ParcelIQ · Leadify Consulting LLC · Charlotte County, Florida, United States

ParcelIQ is operated by Leadify Consulting LLC. We help users explore local property information obtained from public county property appraiser records. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you visit ParcelIQ, create an account, or use our services.

Information we collect

Account information. We collect your name, email address, and information needed to create and authenticate your account. If you register with a password, we process the password through our account management system.

Google sign-in. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive information needed to identify and authenticate your account, including your name, email address, and an account identifier. We do not receive your Google password. Google's handling of information is described in its Privacy Policy.

Saved properties and searches. We store properties you add to your watchlist and search criteria you choose to save. These items are associated with your account.

Communications. If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message and use it to respond.

Technical processing. Our application does not intentionally save IP addresses as part of your account, watchlist, or saved searches. Internet connections and authentication nevertheless involve processing technical information, and hosting or authentication providers may process technical data to operate and protect their services.

Public property records

ParcelIQ displays property and owner information obtained from the local county property appraiser's public dataset. Public property records are separate from information you submit through a ParcelIQ account. Appearing in a property record does not mean that a person has registered with ParcelIQ.

Users cannot edit county property records through ParcelIQ. Corrections to the underlying records must be requested directly from the responsible county property appraiser's office. Changes may not appear on ParcelIQ until its dataset is refreshed.

You may also raise a concern about ParcelIQ's own processing or display of personal information. Requests concerning our service are assessed separately from requests to change county records, subject to applicable law. Deleting an account does not delete records maintained by the county.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and authenticate accounts.
  • Provide property searches and access to account features.
  • Maintain watchlists and saved searches.
  • Respond to questions and support requests.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Cookies and authentication

ParcelIQ uses cookies and related authentication mechanisms to support sign-in and account security. Choosing Google sign-in also involves Google's services.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may prevent sign-in or affect account features.

Service providers and disclosures

Service providers supporting hosting, account authentication, and site operation may process information needed to perform those functions. Google participates in authentication when you choose Google sign-in.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to investigate security incidents, prevent misuse, or protect legal rights.

Subscriptions and payment information

ParcelIQ's launch service is free and does not collect payment information. If paid subscriptions are introduced, we will update this policy to describe payment-related processing and the role of the selected payment provider before that processing begins.

Your controls and privacy requests

You can add or remove properties from your watchlist and add or remove saved searches. ParcelIQ does not currently provide self-service tools for other account changes or account deletion.

You may submit questions or requests concerning personal information to Leadify Consulting LLC through the contact options provided on ParcelIQ. The absence of a self-service tool does not limit rights available under applicable law.

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, or to receive certain information in a portable format. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and will handle requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Retention and account information

Account information and saved items are stored to support your account and the features you use. Removing a saved search or watchlist entry removes it from that feature. Removal from the interface does not necessarily mean that every copy has immediately been erased from backups or supporting systems.

You may contact us about retention or deletion of information associated with your account. Applicable legal requirements and the information needed to address security issues or legal claims may affect how a request is handled.

Security

ParcelIQ uses an account authentication system to control access to account features. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. Keep your login credentials private and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

International visitors

Leadify Consulting LLC operates ParcelIQ from the United States. The service primarily concerns local U.S. property information but may be accessed by visitors from other countries. Information may be processed outside your country, where privacy laws may differ.

Where applicable data protection law uses the term, Leadify Consulting LLC acts as the controller for personal information whose purposes and means of processing it determines. Your use of ParcelIQ does not waive privacy rights provided by applicable law.

Where a lawful basis is required, processing necessary to create and authenticate your account and maintain your saved items supports providing the service you request. Service security, preventing misuse, and responding to inquiries may be supported by legitimate interests, subject to applicable balancing requirements. Other processing may be necessary to comply with legal obligations. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

International transfers are subject to any safeguards required by applicable law. You may request information about the processing locations and transfer arrangements relevant to your personal information through ParcelIQ's contact options.

If applicable law gives you a right to complain to a data protection authority, you may exercise that right without first contacting us. In the European Economic Area, this may include the authority where you habitually reside or work. In the United Kingdom, you may contact the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children's privacy

ParcelIQ is intended for a general audience, primarily adults interested in property information, and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through ParcelIQ, contact Leadify Consulting LLC so we can investigate and take appropriate action under applicable law.

Links to other services

ParcelIQ may link to county websites or other third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies.

We may update this policy as our services or information practices change. Updates will be posted on this page. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
